VENUES FOR ELOPEMENT IN VEGAS

Whether it’s a scenic elopement in the heart of the Vegas Strip or in a low key, rustic, scenic choice, this article presents 17 Las Vegas elopement venues you are sure to love and may consider for your elopement in Vegas.

If your thoughts have been blowing around having your elopement in Vegas on the iconic Vegas Strip, we recommend a couple of gems that will appeal to your modern adventurous nature, with some choices providing affordable and fun options for Las Vegas elopements.

Neon Museum Elopements

#1 Neon Museum

The Neon Museum is one of the most iconic venues for elopement in Vegas where you may have both a vintage Vegas photo shoot and a nostalgic ceremony amongst the most memorable and cherished Las Vegas signs ever to grace the city skyline. It has over 1500 vintage neon signs from around the world that are displayed to inspire visitors. From London’s Covent Garden sign, which reads ” consumes coffee”, or an angel with long golden wings holding a glass of champagne – you’ll find it all here! Couples cherish the artistic, vintage Vegas keepsake photos of their experience due to the myriad of backdrops they get.

Just to give you fair warning, if you are planning an elopement in Vegas be sure to plan over a year in advance as this this is one of the Las Vegas elopement venues that is booked up a year in advance. It is often easier to find space for a half hour photo shoot than it is to have the ceremony in the museum and a lot cheaper as well.  Our packages may be customized to meet your needs however since it is quite expensive to get married inside the Neon Museum, we have created a package to accommodate eloping outside the Neon Museum and then following up the ceremony with a 1/2 hour photo shoot inside the museum.

We have found it is much easier and less expensive on the purse strings to pare an elopement with a photo shoot at the museum.  With photo sessions, you have the option to use the North Gallery, or the main gallery and costs vary a great deal between the two choices. If you want to have the ceremony inside the Neon Museum, please contact us for customized planning services.  In any situation we need to request availability with the museum before booking your event.

Just follow our lead and we will guide you to the best places to elope on and near Fremont Street or the Art District, in the heart of the action or close by.

Staying in Budget

A smaller budget for a scenic Vegas elopement is not a deal breaker.  Even if couples don’t have a lot of dough to spend they still can have a great experience. The plus side of having a smaller elopement is not having to deal with as many decisions.  You can have a simple elopement and many couples prefer to do that rather than have the stress of having a Larger and more elaborate experience. Larger elopements require more planning and because of all the choices available and extra decisions that need to be made such as décor choices, extra photography and embellishments, the price tag of a larger event adds up. The smaller price tag verses a more affordable one may be a preferable and stress free choice.

14 fashion items you might need for your wedding in Vegas

14 fashion items not to forget for your wedding in Vegas

As you add the finishing touches to your wedding day checklist, make sure you add “create a bridal emergency bag for your wedding in Vegas.” For brides that are getting ready to say “I do,” thoughts typically revolve around vendors, decorations, the dress, bridal party, menus, etc, but with so much on their minds, brides often forget to pack some necessities. What issues might pop up as you’re getting ready to walk down the aisle, and what essentials might you need?

wedding in vegas

Fashion flaw advice:

When planning a wedding in Vegas, I find brides often choose the perfect dress months in advance, not to mention the thought that goes into finding a coordinating veil, shoes, and accessories. That being said, a fashion mishap the day of the wedding can be a nightmare for brides, especially if they’re at a wedding in Vegas where they don’t have ready access to their home sewing kit and seamstress.  Although we do have plenty of pharmacies on the Las Vegas strip or specialty stores it will be a huge time saver to bring these items along for the unexpected circumstances that do occur when you travel.

Prepare for any fashion flaws with a travel-size sewing kit that can handle any tears, snags or loose threads. Keep a comfortable strapless bra in your bridal tote for extra support once you slip into your dress one last time. Many brides swear by white duct tape for securing their train for dancing or tucking in the loose fabric.

Beauty Blunders

Some brides are lucky enough to have a makeup artist on deck, ready to fix any smudged eyeliner or smeared lips. But if you’re doing your own makeup, or have a slip up after your artist leaves, it’s important to be prepared.

  • A concealer stick is perfect for quickly covering up blemishes, red spots or dark circles under the eyes. It can also be used to brighten parts of your skin for a glowing look.
  • Water-resistant mascara is a must, especially if you’re a bride that’s likely to cry. Keep your makeup in place with a mascara you know will hold up to tears (test it out beforehand!).
  • Makeup remover wipe:  For instances when your makeup doesn’t stay in place, be ready to wipe unwanted streaks away with a makeup remover wipe (here’s a fun DIY to make your own makeup remover!). These are also great for the end of the night when you’re ready for a lighter look!

Hair Hacks

There are so many options for hairstyles, ranging from intricate updos to loose braids or wearing your hair down with flowing curls. No matter what way you style your locks, you’re going to want them in place and out of your face as you go about your wedding.

Hairpins and a hair tie are essential for pinning back fallen strands of hair or throwing your hair up when you head out onto the dancefloor. You can’t go wrong with a large hair clip either if you’re getting your makeup done before your hairstylist steps in.

Skin Safety

A lot of couples who choose to have a wedding in Vegas choose a Las Vegas outdoor wedding, which means you might be saying “I do” under the beating sun. Make sure your skin is protected for all occasions.

Sunscreen is a must to prevent sunburns and the Las Vegas sun is brutal, but moisturizer is also essential for glowing skin. On a side note, if you’re getting married outside in Vegas, consider sunglasses as cute wedding favors for all of your guests!

Comfort and Care

Make sure you’re comfortable and prepared for the unexpected, not only as you’re getting ready, but for later on in the night as you celebrate during your reception. You’d be surprised how much you’ll be on your feet from the Vegas wedding ceremony to taking photos and then throughout the reception. From dancing and socializing, your feet are going to tire out, especially if you’re wearing uncomfortable shoes. Insider tip: wear them around the house beforehand to break them in!

Blisters are bound to happen, especially if you’re wearing heels. Consider fitting your shoes with cushioned heel pads, but bring a mini first aid kit as backup. As you’re running around double-checking the venue or rounding up your bridal party, it might be a good idea to have some cute bride flip flops in your bag too! These will also come in handy at the end of the night after hours of dancing.

Summing it all up:

In sum, here is a list of all the essentials mentioned above that you should include in your bridal day bag. And don’t forget to find a cute tote to hold it all in!
