How are services customized?
If our customers want to customize their services we have conversation with them first about the ideas and options we suggest. Then the customer can modify the package based on their needs and guest count and circumstances. If they want to add in a la carte services, they may do so. For instance, transportation, design elements, video, more photos, a cake, etc.
How involved in planning do the customers get to be?
It’s important for our customers to be fully involved in the details and decision for their wedding. Most people choose our services because they don’t want to have to think about too many details or be too restricted about their choices. Most of our clients choose to be very involved in planning for their wedding. We always welcome their input and creativity.

Fun moment of exchange with wedding party
What’s not involved in the planning services you offer?
Our clients are primarily Las Vegas destination wedding couples, traveling to Vegas from other cities and countries and don’t live in Las Vegas. Sometimes, they do want pre-wedding meetings and if they do, there is an hourly a la carte charge for that service. For the destination wedding couple we recomment clients use online conferencing, email and phone to go over details.
We keep pricing comparatively affordable and cater primarily with couples who want to elope in Vegas. If you are needing reception planning we do collaborate with other full-service planners and will refer people who are looking for that kind of services in touch with my associate planner. The service quote we work up for clients will specify the services provided.

How involved are you in the day of wedding experience?
You can count on us to help you plan your wedding day. From the time of booking, we are reaching out and guiding every step until it’s all over; if need be for an extra set or flower arrangements because let’s face it- nothing looks worse than having empty spaces where flowers should go! A few days before -in case anyone has any last minute questions-, then just one final touch beforehand means everything towards making sure everything goes smoothly during such special times together as marriage proposals begin with “I Do”
How far in advance do couples need to reserve services with you?
Our clients should give at least a months’ notice when they want to reserve one of our venues. More advance notice will secure better results and if you plan on waiting until 3 weeks before the wedding day, it may not be as likely for that venue availability since most people request services within this time frame. You needn’t worry about making full payment right away though because all costs are finalized 3 weeks prior!
Do you handle all the contracts and payment processing for clients eloping in Vegas?
A quote and contract is drawn up for for our clients to view, approve and sign. The quotes are itemized for clients. Some Vegas wedding venues require the clients sign the contract directly with the venue but we do facilitate sending the documents and helping keep track of signing and payment to the venues on behalf of the client. We also correspond with vendors for our clients, facilitate and oversee all the pertinent permits needed and pay the vendors on behalf of our clients.
Do you handle rentals for clients?
We schedule and set up the vendor rentals for each event. This includes the scheduling, correspondence with the vendors for scheduling the rentals, delivery, arrival and set up, and breakdown of rentals. A good example would be for props to be used for custom photo events, floral items, decorations such as chairs, floral, musicians, etc.

What is the deposit for booking a wedding?
All venues and vendors require a different deposit. Deposit terms will be specified in the venue contract the client will sign. We collect all the data and ensure the correct deposits are paid for by the client to reserve the venue and vendor services they want. Initially, we collect a wedding planning deposit which is a retainer for services. The deposit amount will be determined by the services procured.
When is the final payment due?
The final payment is due 3 weeks prior to the event. If the client initiates services within the 3-week timeframe of the event, the full amount is due then.
Do you help the clients pay the vendors?
Yes, we handle the planning and payment on behalf of the client for the vendors. The more services the client receives, the more itemized the invoice will be and the client will be able to see the charges for each service received.
Are there additional fees clients should know about?
Because we have the client agree to a quote, they will have all the charges up front when they sign the contract. The only time there would be any additional charges would be if the client requests more a la carte services after the quote has been signed. In this case I will revise the invoice and the client will see the charges and agree to them at that time.

What happens if the customer needs to change the date of the event?
As the elopement event planner, we will step in and advocate for the client to re-arranged the services and change the date or time. I just ask the clients to try to give me at least 3 weeks’ notice, if possible. I have often done this for clients and it’s dependent on many factors, not the least of which is whether the date is available with all the vendors and venue as well as my own schedule. This might happen if the couple has to postpone or change the event date.
Is the deposit or final payment refundable?
The planning fees are not refundable as it is considered a planning retainer for the event. The initial planning deposit is taken as a retainer to pay for wedding planning services that are rendered before the wedding takes place. Planning for an event requires behind the scenes office work, outreach to vendors, scheduling the venue, helping the client sign contracts, taking payments, email correspondence, creating the itinerary and much more. The planning is done prior to the 3-week timeline before the wedding day. For this reason we do not refund the planning fee to clients.
The final payment for the event and venue is typically due within the 3-week timeframe prior to the wedding. At that time, if the final payment has been made, it becomes non-refundable. If the wedding needs to be rescheduled, in most cases the venues will work with the clients. Each venue differs in their credit and refund policies. It is best to clarify these details from the venue before you book to know what to expect if there is a disaster beyond your control.

7. A simple Vegas wedding saves money

The allure of choosing to elope in Vegas is the expense savings you reap the benefits of. There are many things you won’t have to contend with when you decide to elope. You will incur less expense if you elope in Vegas than if you decide to have a large formal affair. Below you will see some comparisons of each option. You will still have some expenses if you elope but less of them.
Expenses you will avoid if you elope:
- Pre-wedding dinners and parties (bachelorette and bachelor parties).
- A large reception with DJ: Reception venues typically cost $2000 or more for 4 hours.
- Food for all your guests: Food per person on the Vegas Strip starts at about $70-$100 per person unless it’s a buffet and buffets have disadvantages at times.
- Alcohol expense: Alcohol is a huge expense if you have an open bar. The more people you have the more expensive it will get for your budget.
- Decorations: The flowers, lights, dance floor and staff to accommodate setup and breakdown can be high dollar items in the end.
- Transportation for guests: Your guests need to get there and back. If it’s a large party of people (30-50) bus transportation is in the $550 range just for 3 hours.
- Receptions take 4 or more hours and cost on average $5-$10,000. Most receptions last around 4 hours.
- Entertainment: Typically, it’s a DJ although other entertainment can cost a pretty penny.
Expenses you will have – but less expensive:
-
- Wedding license cost (cost is $77). Learn more about costs here. Click to apply for your marriage license.
- Officiant for the ceremony. Ranges from $125 on up and more for scenic weddings
- Flowers (can range from $60 to $300 but depends how many, what kind, etc.) View flower ideas and choices for your wedding here.
- Hair and makeup (typical costs vary but average at $225 for traditional and $255 for mobile hair and makeup services in Las Vegas. Shop around for great deals.
- Tux and gown (for both around $300 to $500). Some dress shops offer evening gowns to rent and you may not need a tux if you go casual.
- Transportation: The most you will need will be a 6-passenger limousine which is not expensive.
- Cake: The cake will be much less if you decide to still have one. Many couples who elope have the cake at a restaurant. Some couples decide to order one and have it delivered to their hotel to enjoy later.
- Dinner: You will still want to go out to eat but the cost will be much less than feeding all your family and friends.
- Entertainment: You will only need to pay for your own entertainment but there are a lot of Vegas shows and options to choose from.
- Gifts: Since you won’t have a huge guest count for an elopement service, you won’t be receiving wedding gifts from your guests, unless you have some attending. However, it is customary for a bride and groom to give one another a small gift. If you brides have a hard time choosing a gift for your groom there are some great gift ideas on this site.

Even if you have a unique elopement experience in Las Vegas, it will still be much cheaper than a full blown formal wedding. 10. Not putting people out: Some couples feel they don’t want the fuss of a wedding registry or feeling like they are making others obligated to give gifts. Some people just don’t want to put other people out and ask for gifts. Nonetheless, it is customary for a bride and groom to give one another a small gift.
