Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab has been a brainchild of collaboration between two companies, Lettuce Entertain You and Joe’s Stone Crab. I can personally vouch for the wonderful fare and atmosphere of this restaurant. It is also one my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at. The main fare of this restaurant is seafood and I absolutely adore seafood, especially lobster. My lobster was fantastic and melted in my mouth. The seafood is fresh and daily flown in to Vegas. 7. EIFFEL TOWER (Paris hotel)
I have read many reviews of happy couples who have celebrated their event at the Eiffel Tower restaurant. I have performed wedding ceremonies there for couples who wanted to combine their dinner with a wedding. The staff was very attentive. was definitely worth the visit. You can get a reservation with beautiful views overlooking the Bellagio fountains and Vegas strip. It is a very beautiful, elegant restaurant with great food reviews! The views of the Bellagio Fountains at night are spectacular and the atmosphere is very romantic. Many highly recommend it to celebrate and say it was the best restaurant they had ever been to.
The slogan for this restaurant is taken from a review: “Taking “romance” to new heights”. This restaurant rotates 360 degrees while you eat. It’s view is from 106 floors up which gives it the best view in Vegas for dining. It may take your breath away. My husband and I have also celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant. The views are phenomenal and the food is excellent so I can vouch for the services. The menu offers many choices to include a three-course pre selected menu featuring your choice of soup or salad, the Surf & Turf with Petite Filet with choice of lobster tail or Shrimp Scampi and a dessert duo.
My husband and I have celebrated an anniversary at Hugo’s Cellar. It is a very romantic, low light and quiet setting for these kinds of occasions. It’s really best in my opinion for a smaller romantic celebration. We had three waiters and it was truly a gourmet dining experience. The attendants and servers are constantly interacting with you and very attentive. If that is something you want, terrific. Every lady present will be presented a long-stem rose when they arrive. The atmosphere of this restaurant is old-style Las Vegas. Some of the featured entrees are Black Angus beef, veal, duck chicken, flown-in-fresh seafood, to name a few. They have a nice selection of deserts to include flambéed desserts and white and dark chocolate dipped strawberries, apricot and figs.
Phone Number: (702) 385-4011 Fare: Continental, Steakhouse, Steak Dining Style: Fine Dining $$$ $31 – $60 Hours: Dinner: Monday – Sunday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM Dress Code: Business casual to fine dining Website
Las Vegas excels in the hospitality arena. The restaurants and staff are well trained and are equipped to provide fast efficient group set up. In fact, I consider myself spoiled. I have been to some other cities and quite frankly expected better service than I received because I am used to the standard I am accustomed to here. Nonetheless, no matter how great the service is in Vegas it is always advised to give appropriate advance notice and make reservations at any of these fine dining establishments.
Hopefully the restaurants reviewed in this article will help make your restaurant celebration choice easier. These are great spots to consider in my opinion. They are elegant fine dining choices whether it’s an engagement dinner celebration, a place to pop the question and propose, a Vegas wedding or anniversary. This article provides useful links, pricing information, contact information, website links and descriptions of the fare served.
The ambiance, elegance and environment of each of the restaurant choices in this article speaks for itself. These are all great Las Vegas restaurants for groups which offer private dining options which is optimal if you want to focus on your guests and not have a lot of interruption and noise during dinner.
Some people, depending on the occasion, will want to focus only on each other for their wedding or anniversary dinner and may prefer the low light, more private setting. Other situations will call for including family or friends at your celebration so there is a lot to consider when making your decision about the ambiance of the restaurant.
Even if these restaurants are on the higher end of the expense ratio, I think for a special occasion it’s worth the price. After all, how many special life events do you experience on a day to day basis? Wouldn’t you agree these types of occasions deserve a special dining experience? How often do you get to sit with your favorite people and celebrate a special hallmark occasion? I think you and your occasion are worth celebrating.
14 fashion items not to forget for your wedding in Vegas
As you add the finishing touches to your wedding day checklist, make sure you add “create a bridal emergency bag for your wedding in Vegas.” For brides that are getting ready to say “I do,” thoughts typically revolve around vendors, decorations, the dress, bridal party, menus, etc, but with so much on their minds, brides often forget to pack some necessities. What issues might pop up as you’re getting ready to walk down the aisle, and what essentials might you need?
Fashion flaw advice: When planning a wedding in Vegas, I find brides often choose the perfect dress months in advance, not to mention the thought that goes into finding a coordinating veil, shoes, and accessories. That being said, a fashion mishap the day of the wedding can be a nightmare for brides, especially if they’re at a wedding in Vegas where they don’t have ready access to their home sewing kit and seamstress. Although we do have plenty of pharmacies on the Las Vegas strip or specialty stores it will be a huge time saver to bring these items along for the unexpected circumstances that do occur when you travel.
Prepare for any fashion flaws with a travel-size sewing kit that can handle any tears, snags or loose threads. Keep acomfortable strapless bra in your bridal tote for extra support once you slip into your dress one last time. Many brides swear by white duct tape for securing their train for dancing or tucking in the loose fabric.
Beauty Blunders Some brides are lucky enough to have a makeup artist on deck, ready to fix any smudged eyeliner or smeared lips. But if you’re doing your own makeup, or have a slip up after your artist leaves, it’s important to be prepared.
A concealer stick is perfect for quickly covering up blemishes, red spots or dark circles under the eyes. It can also be used to brighten parts of your skin for a glowing look.
Water-resistant mascara is a must, especially if you’re a bride that’s likely to cry. Keep your makeup in place with a mascara you know will hold up to tears (test it out beforehand!).
Makeup remover wipe: For instances when your makeup doesn’t stay in place, be ready to wipe unwanted streaksaway with a makeup remover wipe (here’s a fun DIY to make your own makeup remover!). These are also great for the end of the night when you’re ready for a lighter look!
Hair Hacks There are so many options for hairstyles, ranging from intricate updos to loose braids or wearing your hair down with flowing curls. No matter what way you style your locks, you’re going to want them in place and out of your face as you go about your wedding.
Hairpins and a hair tie are essential for pinning back fallen strands of hair or throwing your hair up when you head out onto the dancefloor. You can’t go wrong with a large hair clip either if you’re getting your makeup done before your hairstylist steps in.
A lot of couples who choose to have a wedding in Vegas choose aLas Vegas outdoor wedding, which means you might be saying “I do” under the beating sun. Make sure your skin is protected for all occasions.
Sunscreen is a must to prevent sunburns and the Las Vegas sun is brutal, but moisturizer is also essential for glowing skin. On a side note, if you’re getting married outside in Vegas, consider sunglasses as cute wedding favors for all of your guests!
Comfort and Care
Make sure you’re comfortable and prepared for the unexpected, not only as you’re getting ready, but for later on in the night as you celebrate during your reception. You’d be surprised how much you’ll be on your feet from the Vegas wedding ceremony to taking photos and then throughout the reception. From dancing and socializing, your feet are going to tire out, especially if you’re wearing uncomfortable shoes. Insider tip: wear them around the house beforehand to break them in!
Blisters are bound to happen, especially if you’re wearing heels. Consider fitting your shoes with cushioned heel pads, but bring a mini first aid kit as backup. As you’re running around double-checking the venue or rounding up your bridal party, it might be a good idea to have some cute bride flip flops in your bag too! These will also come in handy at the end of the night after hours of dancing.
Summing it all up:
In sum, here is a list of all the essentials mentioned above that you should include in your bridal day bag. And don’t forget to find a cute tote to hold it all in!
Travel-sized sewing kit
Comfortable strapless bra
White duct tape
Makeup remover wipes
Large hair clip
Cushioned heel pads
Mini first aid kit
Bride flip flops
We would love your advice and feedback!
