Las Vegas Marries the Military Contest Winners Story

Las Vegas Marries the Military Contest Winners

Custom Las Vegas Weddings owner Julie Nourish donated her officiant services on November 10th, 2017 for Brandon and Amberrose Cone.  Julie and all vendors who participated are members of the Las Vegas Wedding Chamber of Commerce were honored to offer our services and give back to the Las Vegas community. We worked as a team to contribute to the Las Vegas Marries the Military contest.

Maverick Helicopter company was so generous to support the contest and they donated the entire package to this couple.  Amanda’s wedding photography donated her photography and did a video for the couple, Julie Nourish donated her wedding officiation services and provided a customized wedding renewal ceremony and Ron Decar donated his event center and Park and Myrtle DJ services provided fantastic music for the celebration at the end.

There were many other members of the Chamber who donated their time, media coverage, cake, attire, and alcohol to celebrate and toast to each winner continued happiness.  We all worked as a team to make this happen for the couples.

This is only one story of the couple I was honored to serve and provide my customized Las wedding officiate services to.

Amberrose, the wife of a Navy veteran Brandon Cone entered this contest because both her parents and in-laws were married in Vegas and since it is part of her family history to get married in Vegas she thought it would bring good luck.  This was a commemoration of the family relationships held dear to them as well as a good luck charm for their marriage as well.

Brandon and Amberrose were thrilled to find out they won the contest. Their experience left them with memories they will cherish for a lifetime.

It started out exciting and they were thrilled to ride in a helicopter and Ambrose’s favorite part was the “Zoom” she felt taking off from Maverick Helicopters helipad to head out the Grand Canyon.

Brandon was giving a thumbs up because he was so jazzed up for this flight and the Grand Canyon experience.

Amberrose was ready to go too.  She was beaming with excitement and happiness.

We all had to wear safety flotation belts as we flew over Lake Mead on the way to the Canyon, which was a very scenic route.

As we approached the Grand Canyon, the beauty and grandeur of it became breathtakingly beautiful!

Brandon and Amberrose shared their wedding story with me and I created a customized meaningful renewal ceremony for them, personalized to their story. When we arrived at the Grand Canyon the ceremony began within 5 minutes.  What better view can you possibly have than the majesty of nature?

Brandon and Amberrose decided to re-exchange their wedding rings and say their vows and promises again. In this photo, Amberrose is placing the ring once again on Brandon’s finger.

Now it was her turn and they both behaved without smashing it in each other’s face.  After 7 years married there is still a lot of trust between them.

The father of the Groom, George, was having the time of his life enjoying the renewal and being a military vet himself he was honored to be at their renewal of vow ceremony.  He thought it was fantastic they won the Las Vegas Marries the Military contest. They enjoyed a picnic and toast to commemorate a lifetime of continued happiness.

After the wedding renewal, the helicopter flew back to Las Vegas and over the Vegas skyline giving the couple a bird’s eye view of the strip.  Fantastic!
