Rev. Nourish and her husband Karl have lived in Nevada since 1989. She is originally a native of Ohio, although she has also lived in England and Maryland. Karl, her husband is a native of England. They met in England and he proposed to her there and they eventually moved back to the United States and settled in Las Vegas, Nevada after living in Maryland for a year. They have a beautiful daughter Chelsea. They are also both animal lovers and have two miniature Shetland sheepdogs that they adore, Cody and Lady. Along with Cody and Lady they all enjoy the outdoors and enjoy getting out to Red Rock Canyon and Mt. Charleston to hike and enjoy the beauty. Rev. Nourish entered the Ministry to study in 1991 and found it to be the most rewarding, fulfilling and enjoyable career of her life.

After receiving her ordination in 1996, she decided to go forward and become one of the many Las Vegas wedding Ministers licensed in the state of Nevada. She has been performing wedding ceremonies in Las Vegas since that time to supplement her income. It has been her greatest joy to serve as Spiritual Leader of her congregation. Rev. Nourish serves her congregation in the Center of Light church on a weekly basis.

It has been just as rewarding to unite couples in matrimony and Rev. Nourish considers it a privilege and honor to be able to do so. She has enjoyed meeting so many wonderful and interesting people since beginning her service marrying couples in 1996. She feels it is a tremendous blessing to be given the opportunity to be a special part of so many peoples lives. Marriage is such a beautiful blessing and a wedding day is one of those hallmark moments.

Since starting her business Rev. Nourish has gained a lot of business alliances with local vendors in the wedding industry. Where Do We Travel?

Just about any place you can imagine. Areas of travel for our Las Vegas wedding Ministers include the Las Vegas city limits, Parks, Country Clubs, Banquet Facilities, Back Yard Weddings, Home Weddings Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, Las Vegas Strip. You name it and we will travel there.

Are the ceremonies legal outside a church?

Absolutely! Las Vegas is the perfect venue for providing plenty of locations to get married. Our wedding Ministers have been traveling to locations outside of wedding chapels and churches since weddings started occurring here. The parameters of the location do not deter from the legality of the union worldwide. Whether you are from outside the country or a local here, the range of locations to have your ceremony are creative and endless.

Pre-Consultations:

We all love to meet with couples and get acquainted. This allows for more thorough and personalized planning and service.

Myself and the other Ministers who work with me understand that you feel the need to meet with the one who will be performing your ceremony and feel comfortable with them. We also love to meet with you. It allows us to get acquainted and not feel like strangers on the day of the wedding. However we do have other brides and grooms to meet and ceremonies to perform.

Our time is very limited as we all serve congregations and perform other weddings as well. Due to this fact we require a pre-scheduled time to meet with you prior to your wedding day. Please note the process to confirm pre-consultations below.

How much time do we spend with you?:

For the pre-consultation, we allow an hour for meetings. We do love to meet you and get acquainted and learn more about you. Please submit information in the availability form about yourselves so that we have a good start to establish a relationship.

For the ceremony we have to allow at least 2 hours for time and travel to your location. This allows one hour for travel and one hour for the ceremony. If you are having delays on your wedding day please do take this into account.

If you are running late this will cause everyone stress, including the Minister. Please make certain you allow plenty of time to get ready and be ready to start on time. The Ministers often have to keep a schedule and have other brides and grooms to serve for their wedding day. We want to make sure we have plenty of time to make your wedding day special for you with very little stress.

Confirming a Pre-consultation:

There is a $25.00 deposit required before arrangements for a meeting are finalized. Please arrange a free phone consultation prior to the meeting to determine if you want to go forward and schedule a time to meet with the Minister and finalize your arrangements. Then when you are ready, please visit the deposit page to submit the deposit. The fee is non-refundable but it is deducted from the total quote given you upon your request.

Rehearsals:

We do offer wedding planning and provide rehearsal services. A rehearsal does require at least one hours time at minimum for a processional and recessional walk through as it is done twice.

Is there a charge for rehearsals?:

Yes there is a charge of $100.00 for a rehearsal if it is done locally within the city limits and if outside the city limits it is extra. If the rehearsal is needed and the drive is outside city limits please tell the Minister and they will try to work out a plan that will benefit you.

Who will plan and orchestrate the rehearsal?

Either a coordinator or the Minister will do the rehearsal for you if you feel you need one. If Rev. Nourish is not available for your rehearsal personally she will send a coordinator to do the rehearsal for her. Generally the rehearsal information is discussed at length during the pre-consultations. Once the information is collected, the rehearsals generally take about an hour and consist of establishing the line up for the processional and walking through the recessional first, followed by the processional. The walk through generally happens twice so that everyone feels comfortable.

Are gratuities expected after the ceremony?

Gratuities are not required or added into the fees quoted. If you feel that the Officiate, Photographer, Wedding Planner has done an excellent job and served your well, give from your heart what you think is right.

What is the standard gratuity?

The standard gratuity in this industry for Las Vegas wedding Ministers is 15-25 % of the fee or package price. Your generosity is appreciated and we thank you!
